Design Challenge: To design a watch that communicates the unique style and brand values of BMW's revitalized marque, MINI.

Design Solution: Through both its form and function the MINI watch sets new "signs of the time." Like the reborn MINI, strikingly original form, line and color combinations immediately denote this watch as a member in a bold design family.

The designers continued the themes of "treading an original path" throughout the watch, in all its details. The strap passing through the case, the overlapping date and day indication, the cut out sapphire crystal and the innovative selection of materials each mark the MINI watch as unique among watches. The textile strap has been designed over a spring-steel core, rendering it tight enough for the watch to literally cling to your wrist even without a catch. You might say it embraces you with a natural enthusiasm, supporting the overall effect of the watch - youthfulness, joy, affection and ready for life's adventures.
